Hope you all had a good Christmas and Happy New Year!!
We had a week off to catch up on some sleep! We celebrated christmas together ... on the 24th!!! which was quite bizarre, but good fun. The Peruvians are just impatient! We had a turkey at night which had been injected with orange juice, and instead of potatoes carrots, peas , brussels, roasties etc. ... we had rice. We watched a stupid video guido and simon made and then had a bonfire at the campsite eating icecream and chatting til 3 in the morning. Christmas day we all went to our different houses although that was a bit more difficult for us so we settled for David and Alicias house which is where we spent a week. We had an Aussie christmas with a barbecue for Christmas dinner and on 26th travelled to tacna for the real Norn-Iron Christmas dinner with all the missionaries which was awesome although they forgot to cook the brussel sprouts (what a pity!)
The rest of the week we spent relaxing at the beach, the pool and the amusements. We are now at the campsite getting ready for the camps which are about to begin as it is the summertime here.
Please praise God for the break
Please pray for us as we prepare and get ready for the camps
And please pray that God would use the camps to impact the lives of those who come

Boy, am I glad to see you back on the airways again. I was just about to give up. I thought; is my watch stopped? is the computer faulty? is Roberta on her way home? All sorts of thoughts crossed my mind. I never for one moment thought that it was for you to recover from excess eating and other festivities. Here was I at home with the choice of many courses including cooked brussel sprouts and thinking to my self "that that poor girl had only her bowl of rice". At least, Roberta, we have something in common, we both like brussel sprouts (cooked).
Things have taken a bizarre turn here at the Iron Hall. You'll never know the place when you come home. Apparently, though it may be a rumour, the elders are being issued with bicycles. Thats probally why Jim Shaw resigned last year, the thought of it. Also I meant to tell you that a paparazzo was at the pensioner's dinner party. He took a few snaps of me although I wouldn't class my self as famous. Thank you for the E-mail which I have been meaning to answer when I can think of something to say. I'm sure your glad the summer has arrived as it will make the cold showers more bareable.
I am looking forward in anticipation and in God's will that through faithfully following God's Word, prayer, and the preaching of the Cross, Christ has promised He would build a strong church.
You are always in our prayers, Newlady and Newgent.
Where have all the bloggers gone? Long time passing, Where have all the bloggers gone? long time ago. My Dear Roberta, It looks like we have been reduced to one blogger and I don't need to tell you who that is! Towards the end of last year I thought things were beginning to pick up. I suppose Ally Banter has a reasonable excuse. I've noticed recently a significant number of people trying to contact her. As for me, I always seem to be last in a long line of young men waiting to talk to her and by the time its my turn, Hugh Martin has rung the bell. She is obviously lost for words. As for Random, I don't know what to make of him or her. The dictionary defination covers a multiple of sins. If Random does not appear soon, he or she will end up in random excess memory. What about Miss Some one. Now there is a name to think about. I have been thinking about what sort of person this is. At first I thought it must be someone who wants to keep their name secret. Then I thought its a girl who misses Simon or some other young man. On the other hand it could be a young man who misses some young girl. The possibilities are endless. By the way I vaguely remember someone called Trevor.
I am still remembering you and praying for you. God bless.
Roberta,
Happy Birthday! I was talking to Luz a few hours ago when she told me that we share the same day for our birthday. I hope you're enjoying it over there with all the team, and that all the upcoming camps go well.
Feliz cumple! Saludos a todos.
Graham
